Course Structure The USMLE Step 2CK Live Lecture course is very well structured and is offered on systems basis. It emphasizes all the key subjects tested on the exam, including the critically essential elemental conceptsvital for success on the USMLE. The notes are very concise and not overwhelming.   Course Notes One aspect of this course that has received widespread acclaim over the years is the course notes. Course Notes are given out at the beginning of the course. The notes are frequently updated to reflect the current trends in medicine and the USMLE. Many of our participants have returned from the exam to state that almost all of their actual USMLE questions come from our material.   Location The course is offered in a hotel conference room setting at many of our locations, including Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Chicago.The goal is to offer the lectures within facilities that offer serene atmosphere conducive to learning.   Schedule The course is typically held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 or 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday; it comprises of lectures and examinations. The goal is to complete lectures within a 6-hour period, with intervening breaks, so that participants do not become too exhausted at the end of the day’s lecture. Unlike other prep programs where students sit in class from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and are too exhausted to do anything upon leaving lecture, ours is structured in such a way that one can have many hours of study time after class.   Duration The lectures are held over a 3-week period. That is the length of time it takes to complete the lectures. Upon completion of this 3-week course, you would go back home to master the notes and complete the USMLE Question Bank we give at the end of the course. The period you spend on your own reading and practicing questions is also critical for success, and we will be guiding you for several weeks while you go through this process. We continue to teach you and prepare you until you receive an excellent USMLE score in the mail. So, while the lectures last 3 weeks, the preparations actually last longer and we are with you throughout the process.   Depending on your background the USMLE Step 2 Course can be custom-made to meet your needs. This is important because some people have been out of school and medical practice for a very long time, and with the recent importance placed on some basic concepts, some test-takers may need additional help. The course has even been extended to meet people’s needs. We offer a very high-yield, powerful review course that has helped many people achieve very high scores over the years.

Overview Several people preferonline USMLE prep course because of an inability to travel due to family and work commitments. We therefore offer a LIVE online course for such individuals. It is offered in real-time just like ina classroom setting, so any participant can stop the lecture and ask any questionsimilar to the way one would in a live classroom setting. This means that it isnot a pre-recorded video.   Through web-based discussion software technologies, students/subscribers can participate in asynchronous discussions; the conferencing software allows the lectures to take place in real-time. Participants will be able to view it from the comfort of their own homes vialaptops or PC or tablet and mobile devices. The notes are given out in the online lecture hall and participants can print out the material ahead of lectures. The lectures are also recorded and stored for students who may want to review them later. This also allows our former live lecture participants to benefit from the lectures again after they leave the live prep program.So, if you want to re-learn the material againand let us help you master it over time, this is an excellent option.   Timing/Schedule Because the online course is a live lecture and it requires the subscriber to activelylisten and follow the lecture, a prearranged scheduled starting time is set up that should be convenient for the participants, who are typically in different time zones. Some lectures may be repeated for some people in different time zones. A typical lecture lasts 3-4 hours in the evenings.   Course Duration We offer the online class within a 5-week period. Sometimes it maybe extended by a few weeks based on the participants' schedule. Most of theseindividuals have full-time jobs and parenting responsibilities and it istherefore difficult for them to have a class every day of the week.   Benefits You are getting the benefit of the live lecture without having to travel toone of our lecture locations to pay and live in a hotel and accumulate travel and other expenses. People are able to schedule a lecture time that is convenient for them. Some mothers have opted for 2 a.m.- 6 a.m.lecture time block, as it is the time that their children are asleep, andthey have no parenting or work responsibilities. An audio recording of each lecture is available upon completion of each lecture session for referencing later.   Recent Success 2017 was an excellent year: our lowest USMLE Step 2 score was 248; the most recent Step 2 test-takers scored 251, 254, 256, 252, 254, add 250. The trend has been consistent. We are expecting a few more excellent scores from those scheduled to take the exam in the early months of 2018.   Virtual Classroom Set Up Once you have signed up for the online course, we will email you a link to the software for the Virtual Classroom. You’ll then download and install the software. Then you just show up for class at the pre-arranged time each day.

You will come in for a three-week Step 2 CK Review Course. The course runs from Monday to Saturday each week; you will get Sundays off. The course notes contain all the material you need for the exam. The combination of our strikingly relevant material and our powerful lectures will propel you to outstanding success on the exam. The goal is to help you achieve a score of 245 or higher.   We will work with you on a personal level and learn your strength and weaknesses. You will get an individualized study plan during the course, which will be reinforced with important feedbacks aimed at improving your mastery of the material.   Upon completion of the course, you will go back home and master the notes and complete a question bank. Once an acceptable score on the question bank is achieved, you will then take an Assessment Exam. When a high-level score is achieved we will then advise you to go and take the USMLE Step 2 CK exam.   Those who do not achieve an assessment score in an acceptable range will be advised to continue studying the material for additional period of time until mastery is achieved. Those who need additional tutoring will be offered tutoring online at a time that is convenient for them. Then another Assessment test is taken. If you get stuck, you have your instructor at your disposal to guide you through the problem. When the necessary score is achieved the candidate is then advised to proceed to take the exam.
